Australian Refrigeration Services technician, Chantelle Mares, excels at problem solving and fault finding - qualities that are highly valued in industrial refrigeration.
Chantelle completed her apprenticeship last year and enjoys being able to work on a wide variety of equipment and plant.
“No two days are the same,” she says. “One day I might be working on a little air dryer then the next I am at a huge ammonia plant.”
Chantelle says she works with an experienced team that are always willing to share their knowledge.
“In this trade it is important to have a network of people to learn from,” she says. “I love passing on that knowledge to the newer apprentices, I find that really rewarding.”
