Evaporative cooling equipment manufacturer, Seeley International, will expand its manufacturing plant in South Australia.
The expansion will boost exports to the United States and create 100 new jobs over the next three years.
Seeley International will increase sales of its innovative technology with support from the state government.
The state government has backed Seeley with $5 million through SA’s Economic Recovery Fund, promising to spend $122 million all up to export homegrown technologies.
Seeley’s group managing director Jon Seeley, said the first units will be shipped in June.
The focus is on Seeley’s new product, the Climate Wizard Hybrid, which can slash energy costs by 80 per cent compared to refrigerated systems.
