Mitsubishi Electric Australia has appointed Geoff Watson to the role of HVAC State Manager across Victoria and Tasmania.
Watson has been promoted from his previous position of Victoria/Tasmania HVAC Sales Manager and replaces Rob Seeley.
With over 21 years of experience in the HVAC industry, and two years of experience with Mitsubishi Electric Australia, Watson has a wealth of product and industry knowledge.
In his new leadership role across two states, Watson will oversee the sales department, as well as focus on business development and strategy.
Watson will provide a new style of leadership to the business, commenting that he would like to “empower people to make their own decisions and enhance what they are currently doing with their current position.”
Watson said he will use his past experiences to take the team’s already high standards and push them even further.
“I will also work with them to amplify the amazing results that they are achieving. I believe Mitsubishi Electric has the best product in the market and I want to focus on its unique features and benefits and promote this point of difference to the market,” he said.
