For the first time ever, All-Energy Australia will be hosting a Start-Up Showcase, presented by EnergyLab, where Australia and New Zealand’s brightest clean energy start-ups will be showcased.

EnergyLab is the ANZ’s largest climate tech start-up accelerator and innovation network dedicated to reaching net zero emissions. It supports talented founders in climate tech and connects them to the mentors, advisors, partners, peers and investors they need to succeed.

The Start-Up Showcase, which takes place on Thursday 27 October, will host some of the country’s most exciting clean-tech start-ups, including Open Solar, Roev, UPowr, Ecojoule, Economical Energy, Equoia, Allegro Energy, and more.

“The clean energy and climate tech start-up scene in Australia is going from strength to strength,” said Megan Fisher, CEO of EnergyLab.

“The incredible adoption of renewable energy here has created a great environment for clean tech start-ups to thrive.

“We are thrilled to partner with All-Energy Australia to present this Showcase, and share the leading tech and solutions from this group of exciting start-ups.”

There will be a particular focus on lithium batteries with a panel covering ‘Start-Ups & Australia’s Generational Opportunity in the Lithium Battery Value Chain’, and a keynote focusing on ‘Maximising Our Lithium Battery Value Chain Resources’.

The focus on innovation in the battery area is following the launch of the Supercharge Initiative, a partnership between global clean energy start-up accelerator, New Energy Nexus and EnergyLab, which is calling for more Australian start-ups to supercharge battery innovation.

“The road to net zero is a challenging one and will involve all the different levels of government, as well as all of our best and brightest minds to help us get there,” said Robby Clark, portfolio director at RX Global and All-Energy Australia.

“The people and organisations that we are showcasing at the Start-Up Showcase feature some of these groundbreaking ideas and organisations that will be part of Australia’s energy solution. We’re excited to give these innovators a platform.”

Registrations are now available here, and the session directory can be seen here.

The exhibition and conference is co-located with Waste Expo, forming the largest gathering for waste and recycling management, clean and renewable energy, and energy storage professionals in the country.
