Industrial gas company, Messer, will invest $US70 million in the construction of a state-of-the-art air separation unit (ASU) in Arkansas, United States.
The new facility will address the growing demand for industrial gases in the southern part of the US, reinforcing Messer's commitment to supporting expanding industries in the region.
President & CEO of Messer Americas, Elena Skvortsova, said the investment reflects the company’s dedication to providing a dependable supply of industrial gases like oxygen and nitrogen to meet the evolving needs of customers in food and beverage, healthcare, metals, chemicals, and many more industries.
The project will create 20 jobs and provide temporary local jobs during the construction phase.
“This new ASU will also complement the company's existing facility in Lewisville, Arkansas, enhancing production capacity to meet the increasing demand for essential gases,” Skvortsova said.
