Daikin Australia has launched commercial refrigeration condensing units in conjunction with the launch of a new strategic business unit.

“The new refrigeration business unit aims to provide solutions in all phases of the cold chain, introducing a wide line of refrigeration equipment from industrial to commercial use,” according to Gaurav Malik, general manager for the company’s applied and solutions business.

The condensing units are manufactured by J&E Hall, a worldwide member of the Daikin Group and one of the world’s foremost refrigeration solution providers.

Combining design innovation and energy efficient technology, the J&E Hall condensing units have a number of advanced features and functions.

Microchannel heat exchanger technology (on selected models) reduces the refrigerant volume in the system more efficiently than traditional fin and tube heat exchangers to provide savings on installation costs.

A new adjustable fan speed and pressure switch provide added flexibility to deliver optimal operation for the chosen refrigerant.

Better energy efficiency and the top-quality components will improve reliability and longevity. Low fan speeds and the acoustically-lined condensing unit casing will ensure quiet operation.

These condensing units will offer a smaller footprint unit taking up less space, a better solution for noise sensitive projects, whilst reducing energy costs, and is available in Medium Temperature (0.9 - 15.5kW) and Low Temperature (0.8 - 12.8kW).

Installation and maintenance are simple and easy. J&E Hall has a full range of reciprocating and scroll condensing units in various casing sizes with multi-refrigerant options, providing installation flexibility.

Access to major components is available through the front and side via hinged doors (on selected models) for trouble-free maintenance. The condensing unit casing is powder-coated to enhance resistance to corrosion, offering longer term reliability.

Daikin Group is taking steps to integrate its commercial refrigeration operations in Australia further. With 100 years of experience in the refrigeration business, Daikin has extensive expertise in refrigerants, controls, and compressors.
