Beijer Ref has acquired Webb Supply, a North American wholesale HVAC distributor.
It is the third acquisition Beijer Ref has made since entering the United States market almost 12 months ago. Beijer Ref entered the market in January 2023 with the acquisition of Heritage Distribution Holdings.
Webb Supply is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio and serves contractors in Northeastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania - territories adjacent to Beijer Ref's current holdings in the US.
Founded in 1965, Webb Supply is a family-owned company with approximately 40 staff.
Webb will continue to operate under its own brand, in both distribution and marketing.
Heritage Distribution CEO, Alex Averitt, said the company looks forward to the addition of Webb Supply to the Heritage Distribution family.
“Our growth, fuelled by strategic acquisitions, allows us to continue adding new customers and enabling more people to live healthier and more comfortable lives,” Averitt said.
Beijer Ref CEO, Christopher Norbye, said the acquisition aligns with the distributor’s overall growth strategy and complements its existing offering in the US.
