A well-known, local HVAC supplier, Air Solutions International, has become the agent for a new Canadian product known as the Sewage Sharc.
It can heat domestic hot water or heat and cool medium to large multi-unit residential developments, aged care residences, hospitals and commercial buildings.
The “Sharc” can handle a wide spectrum of applications including district energy systems, and be used with geothermal equipment without the need for drilling holes, removing a major project cost.
Moreover, the Sharc will be manufactured in Australia under licence to International Waste Water Systems of Canada.
The thermo-mechanical methods used in the system are efficient, cost effective, scalable and renewable.
It also reduces CO2 & GHG emissions and is easy to install.
The systems shows energy savings in the 20-35 per cent range. When used to reject heat it can eliminate the use of cooling towers and give equipment efficiencies increases of up to 25 per cent.
The company can provide engineering assistance, free feasibility studies, cost estimates, as well as efficiency calculations proving cost effectiveness.
Air Solutions International can provide third party analysis studies to evaluate the capability of incorporating sewage heat recovery.
