Kelvion is offering Goedhart air coolers with copper-aluminum heat exchangers, to include a so-called LX version for operation with CO2 as refrigerant.
The LX versions have been designed for a range of cooling and freezing applications at operating pressures up to 60 bar.
In addition, they have been optimized to the thermodynamic properties of CO2.
The new LX versions are available for the following ranges: VCI (ceiling-mounted air coolers with single discharge), VCe (air coolers with large and especially energy-efficient fans), DVS (dual discharge), VNS (with extra-low air velocities for sensitive goods such as vegetables and fruit), and BC50/BC50XF (for blast-freezing).
With this portfolio, air coolers designed for CO2 applications are now available for all key areas of food and beverage logistics. Parallel to the LX version, the standard versions of these ranges will continue to be available for use with synthetic refrigerants.
Goedhart air coolers can also be designed for operational pressures greater than 60 bar. They are manufactured as special versions with stainless steel heat exchanger tubes.
