The new Hioki testers with flexible coil option are ideal for confined areas and a current up to 4200 A.
The new, drop-proof Hioki 3280-10F (RMS indicating) and Hioki 3280-20F (TRMS) clamp-on testers are available with the CT 6280 flexible coil option allowing measurement in very confined areas.
The core jaws are suitable for conductors to 33 mm diameter. Using the CT 6280, 130 mm in diameter can be encircled.
Both clamp testers are Cat IV(300V) and Cat III (600V). The Hioki 3280-10F is suitable from frequencies from 50 to 60Hz; the Hioki 3280-20F (TRMS) can be used from 40 to 1000 Hz.
Voltage range is from 4.2 V to 600 V FS AC and 420 mV to 600 V DC; current range is from 42 to 1000 A and to 4200 A with the CT 6280; resistance range is from 420 ohm to 42 Megohm plus continuity buzzer.
