Advanced, inverter-driven Daiseikai

Toshiba Air Conditioning has introduced a new generation of its premium inverter Daiseikai air conditioning systems.

The advanced inverter-driven Toshiba Daiseikai air conditioner is designed to deliver excellent efficiency, maximum comfort and very low noise levels.

The Daiseikai has a special quiet mode that enables it to operate down to 20dB(A)*, equivalent to the ticking of a wrist watch in an otherwise silent room.

The twin-rotary compressor works in conjunction with a new design four-way valve, while an improved heat exchanger optimises efficiency in both cooling and heating modes.

The arc-shaped heat exchanger is twinned with a large helical-shaped fan to improve air circulation and reduce noise.

Precise output control allows the Daiseikai to accurately match both cooling and heating output to very low load levels, providing only as much cooling and heating as required and significantly reducing energy usage at part-load conditions.

A user friendly remote control gives end users unprecedented control of comfort. Air flows can be controlled in a 3D space with six pre-set patterns, giving varying horizontal and vertical flows.

These include wide sweeps for overall cooling or heating, and focussed options for targeting hot or cool spots in a room.

Advanced disinfection of air passing through the unit is achieved through the use of a high energy plasma generation system.

Fine particulate filters are used as a second barrier to prevent the spread of airborne contaminates.

Daiseikai units are also equipped with a self-cleaning function which removes moisture condensed on the evaporator coil after the unit has been switched off.

Other features include:
- Weekly timer with 4 different programs available per day.

- Discrete and intelligent LEDs which will indicate if the unit is in heating or cooling operation, these can be turned off or dimmed at any time.

- An ionizer system providing pure air. This is achieved by negative ions absorbing smoke, food smells and bad odours.

- Power Selection function on the controller can limit the maximum current and power consumption to 100%, 75% or 50% and the lower the percentage the higher the savings.

The Toshiba Air Conditioning Daiseikai comes in three different sizes including 2.5kW, 3.5kW and 4.5kW.
