There are so many ways that the people in our lives can inspire us.

This is especially true in the workplace where everyone is striving to do their best.

This is where we get to see momentary glimpses of brilliance and share those big ideas. These are the moments that remind us of the reasons why we commit so much time and effort to our careers.

The completion of a successful job (after many hours of hard work) is always satisfying but it is sharing the experience with the people we work with that really makes it worthwhile.

Great teams are built on great relationships. Think about the strong bonds that are formed at work when we are under pressure and everyone around us is tested.

This usually happens during tight deadlines, unexpected delays or those inevitable mishaps that hit us when we’re least prepared.

This is when the talented rise to the occasion, this is when they really do make a difference.

These are the tales of inspiration that are at the very heart of the Women in HVACR Programme, which is why our Top 20 are so deserving. Read full list here:

How often do we take time out of our busy schedules to celebrate our colleagues' success, to recognise those that really do make a difference? We don’t do it enough.

Forget quiet contemplation and admiration, these women deserve a loud, chest-pumping, public celebration of their achievements. These women are charting their own course in an industry where they make up less than a quarter of the workforce.

In addition to our Top 20, the October/November edition of the magazine features part two of our roundtable series on the challenges of heat pump deployment. Read here:

This series has generated a lot of interest, especially on social media proving that roundtables really are a great platform for industry debate and discussion.

The year is almost over. I don’t want to create panic or alarm but Christmas celebrations are just around the corner.

Personally, it feels like we just celebrated Easter. What inspired you in 2024? Email sandrarossi@yaffa.com.au
