Meet Woolworths (VIC) technician Imogen Stephens.
Imogen was originally a sparky but lost her job due to COVID. She soon discovered refrigeration and air conditioning and describes it as the “best decision” she ever made.
“The part I enjoy most about working in refrigeration is that you’re always learning something new. And you can see how other mechanics get the job done and learn different tricks of the trade,” Imogen said.
“Sometimes you really must think outside the box to get things done, which can be challenging so you always need to be creative.”
Imogen is keen get as much experience as possible and to eventually become a commissioner working in Woolworths.
“Then I can pass on my knowledge to the next generation of mechanics,” she said.
