Precise Air Group technician Samuel Maliak had no intention of working in HVAC, he simply got lucky. While job seeking Samuel secured an apprenticeship.
“Now I love the trade,” he says. “I love the challenge of fault finding and problem solving even the electrical work.”
Samuel can see a big future in HVAC and wants to progress to fully qualified technician and eventually, team leader.
Precise Air services cover HVAC, fire and bundled MFE (mechanical, fire, electrical) maintenance and building and essential services. It’s an environment that provides plenty of opportunities to learn.
“Every day there is a new problem to solve and something new to learn,” Samuel says.
What is the most challenging part of the job?
“Electrical controls and wiring can be complex which requires patience,” he explains.
“I really do enjoy what I do and love my job.”
