Hiflow Integrated Services Group Pty Ltd technician Bryce Bell initially went straight from school to RMIT University.
“I studied engineering for a year,” Bryce says. “But uni really wasn’t for me, I wanted to do a trade.”
Bryce didn’t know anything about the refrigeration and air conditioning trade when he began.
“I pretty much fell into refrigeration. When I started I wasn’t too sure what it was all about,” he explains.
Thankfully, Bryce enjoyed it and is thriving at Hiflow. He likes his job so much he is already planning his second trade.
“As soon as I finish refrigeration I can start my electrical apprenticeship and become a dual tradesman,” Bryce says.
Now that’s an achievement! One trade is enough for most people, a dual trade takes real commitment.
