Grosvenor Engineering Group technician Frank Taylor completed his apprenticeship last year.
Frank went searching for an apprenticeship after leaving school in 2017.
“I knew I would love this trade, the best part is problem-solving and trouble-shooting complex systems,” he says.
“I really like working with my hands and seeing tangible results.”
Frank says there are hazards that come with the job.
“There are risks dealing with electrical components, refrigerants and high-pressure systems,” he explains.
Now that the 25-year-old has obtained his Cert III he is keen to master his craft and become an expert technician.
“I want to excel in central plant equipment such as chilled water systems,” he says.
Eventually Frank would like to start his own HVAC business.
“Once my business is established I would like to provide the best service for my clients and customers.”
