Cold Logic apprentice, Jake Johnson, is keen to become an accomplished technician and set an example for future apprentices.
The 21-year-old is in the third year of his apprenticeship and is based in Adelaide.
He enjoys learning new skills it certainly keeps the job interesting.
Jake was one of the lucky ones, he had friends and family already working in the industry before he started.
“I enjoy learning from the specialist technicians, they are really skilled,” he says.
Asked about the future and Jake admits he hasn’t made a firm decision just yet.
“This is a big industry with plenty of opportunity,” he says. “I want to be a skilled technician so that one day I will be in a position to teach the younger apprentices.”
