Australian Refrigeration Services technician Chantelle Mares completed her apprenticeship in 2023.
"I have been in the industry since 2020 and I have loved every day of it," she says.
What makes it so great? "Every day is different and there is a lot of problem solving in this trade and I find that very satisfying," Chantelle says.
Her favourite part of the job is dealing with customers. "I like being able to tell the customer that the job is done and everything is up and running," she says.
Chantelle is also happy working in industrial refrigeration.
"I enjoy teaching apprentices and passing on the knowledge that was shared with me during my early years when I was still learning; I find that really rewarding," she says.
