Six months isn’t a long time to plan the premier HVAC&R event of the year.
That’s the reasoning behind my early bird planning schedule for CCN Live 2014.
It will be held on August 13, 2014 so please mark your diaries now.
The venue which is the Royal Randwick Racecourse is booked, the theme finalised and the speaker program in active development.
With my need to formalise everything yesterday, I am seeking your valuable input into the conference program.
The success of CCN Live depends on you, so please ensure your voice is heard.
The theme for this year’s conference is Driving Profits in the Green Age.
Sustainability is important but if it isn’t cost-effective, it's a commercial pipe dream.
This is an industry that strives to be environmentally responsible but it’s meaningless if it doesn’t contribute to the bottom line.
It is for this reason that the focus this year is on the client side. We want insight into successful projects that are delivered with green star credibility.
To do this I am inviting building owners to talk about their HVAC expectations as well as engineering firms armed with case studies.
While commercial realism is at the centre of each presentation, the over-riding goal is to hear from speakers who have experienced sustainability success.
Wise words and timeless tips are the order of the day.
If you have a topic idea or speaker suggestion please send me an email at sandravandijk@yaffa.com.au I would love to hear from you.
On the subject of great conferences, the seminar program for ARBS 2014 is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever.
There are so many outstanding presentations we couldn’t list them all in this issue of the magazine but there is a snippet of what’s planned on page 8.
CCN will share more details next month when the countdown begins in the lead up to the big event.
Once again CCN will have its own stand at ARBS so if you are attending please don’t hesitate to drop by and say hello.
