FridgeWize, a leading provider of energy-efficient commercial refrigeration solutions, recently announced the launch
of the Q12 and Q10 evaporator motor fan blades, enabling enterprise clients with refrigeration units to save money
on their utility bills.
A dramatic improvement from aluminium and plastic blades commonly used in refrigeration systems, the carbon
fibre Q12 and Q10 evaporator motor fan blades are engineered to significantly reduce energy consumption.
When installed in conjunction with the FridgeWize EC evaporator fan motor, the combination sets new industry
standards in energy-efficiency worldwide, according to company COO Ryan Grobler.
“We are pleased to launch the FridgeWize Q12 and Q10 evaporator motor fan blades, which empower business
owners and facility managers to save money on utility bills and minimise their carbon footprint,” he said.
“In third-party testing and pilot programs with leading fast-food chains and large-scale liquor stores, the FridgeWize Q12 and Q10 fan blades reduced EC motor energy consumption by up to 50 per cent, resulting in 15 per cent additional savings to the refrigeration component of a utility bill.
“This innovative new technology will benefit both our customers’ bottom line and our planet.”
Grobler said aluminium evaporator motor fan blades have the tensile strength of approximately 20,000 PSI
compared to FridgeWize fan blades’ 207,000 PSI.
FridgeWize Q12 and Q10 evaporator motor fan blades are 935 per cent stronger than aluminium blades, lightweight,
cannot rust to the motor shaft, has a payback period of less than two years and includes a 10-year warranty, the
company said.
Clients can also get a free audit of the existing commercial refrigeration system to calculate energy savings, monetary return and the product payback period.
