SKY Refrigeration Pty Ltd has been appointed the Australian and New Zealand agent for BVA Specialty Lubricants, a US leader in the manufacture of refrigeration compressor oils.
Sky Refrigeration managing director, Pete Schey, said the announcement significantly enhances the company’s range locally.
“We are excited to bring BVA’s performance leading range of POE, Mineral and Alkylbenzene oils to the Australian and New Zealand markets,” he said.
BVA was established in 1983 as an alternative to the less flexible large oil conglomerates and quickly became a useful partner for OEMs requiring specialised oils for particular applications.
Since then BVA, using only premium base fluids and minimal additives, has established itself as a major player in the US with oils that exceed the required specifications of major OEMs.
