With more than one million applications to date, Cliplight ,the pioneer refrigeration leak sealant manufacturer, has further improved the Super Seal Classic line by combining it with Dry R moisture eliminator and rebranding it Super Seal Advanced.
"Advanced is the same trusted leak sealing formula we've used in the Super Seal Classic line since its introduction to the HVAC/R industry in 2003,” a Cliplight spokesperson said.
"However, now with the added convenience of Dry R moisture eliminator, it gives the technician the three-in-one benefit of leak prevention, sealing and moisture elimination, while also preventing acid and wax formation, all in one can.”
The trio of rebranded Classic products – Super Seal ACR, HVACR and Commercial – will retain their original part numbers of 947-Kit (up to 5.3 kW), 944-Kit (5.3 kW to 17.6 kW) and 948-Kit (over 17.6 kW) respectively.
As part of the rebranding, Cliplight has also revamped its logo and packaging for its entire product line that also includes Flash leak detection dye, Dry R, and Super Seal Total, the combination sealant/moisture eliminator/UV dye product for leak detection, sealing and prevention.
Each Advanced application has enough Dry R to eliminate up to 1.3 ml of moisture, which complements the filter drier and keeps the system free of moisture.
