Hurll Nu-Way’s HVAC family is growing with the release of the Phoenix Hygienic Air Handlers which are available for critical process applications such as food processing facilities.
This includes meat, poultry, seafood, fruits and vegetables, juice, nuts, dairy and eggs, frozen and prepared food.
Used in food processing plants, hygienic air handlers supply fresh, filtered, humidified and cooled / temperature controlled air to pressurize food processing rooms.
Room pressurization can inhibit airborne contaminants from entering the processing space from other areas.
Controlling humidity is crucial to help reduce free moisture and condensation. Excess moisture fosters the growth and spread of bacteria.
Roof or indoor mounted hygienic handlers are used instead of air cooling units that are mounted inside the processing rooms.
By eliminating "in-room" equipment and mounting hygienic air units outside the processing room, cleaning (washing and disinfecting) the process rooms is much quicker and easier with less growth surfaces for bacteria.
