The Hioki 8410-20 Data Logging System is ideally suited to analysis of building management systems, HVAC, cool room and refrigerated display units as well as general industrial monitoring tasks and vehicular monitoring.
The new Hioki LR8410-20 Data Logging Station and its up to seven logging modules and 15 channel satellite 2.4 GHz wireless Data Transmitting Measuring Units provide for up to an aggregate of 105 data collection points of parameters, including temperature, resistance, relative humidity (RH), and voltage.
There are two types of Data Transmitting Measuring Units; one for voltage and thermocouples and the other (the Universal Data Transmitting Measuring Unit) suitable for voltage, thermocouple, RH, RTD temperature, and resistance.
The two types of Data Transmission Measuring Units can be intermixed as needed up to a total of seven for one Data Logging Station. They can be powered by AC adaptors, batteries or DC supplies.
Up to five LR8410-20 Data Logging Stations, other Hioki Data loggers and HiCorder memory recorders can be interconnected, with data output to computers using the Hioki Logger Utility software, thus producing a powerful and highly flexible data measuring system.
The 2.4 GHz wireless link provides up to 30 metres of line of sight communication with the Hioki LR8410-20 Data Logging Station, using Bluetooth 2.1 protocol.
The Data Logging Stations are equipped with buffering memory thus permitting storage during periods the Data logging Station is out of reach, such as in elevator monitoring.
The new Hioki 8410-20 Data Logging Station can log up to 105 channels, is able to operate from AC power or DC batteries, and has LAN and USB interfaces.
Hioki 8410-20 Data Logging Station has an internal memory of 16 MB (stores in excess of 32 days of data at 10 second intervals) and memory capacity is expanded through Hioki Flash Cards and USB storage devices providing storage capacity in excess of one year.
Hioki 8410-20 Data Logging Station is distinguished by extremely fast sampling down to 100 milliseconds.
Flash cards and other storage devices can be removed during the data storage operation and replaced with new devices during massive data collection periods.
Data transfer is via FTP. Data protection is built into the data logger to provide a high level of security for the integrity of measurements.
In the event of compromised data, e-mail notification can be sent to a network-connected computer or mobile phone.
Remote control via HTTP server function permits remote configuring of data capture parameters, downloading of data and monitoring.
Data collection can be triggered in analogue fashion (rising, falling and window) and also via pulse, time event and logical combinations of channels.
Hioki 8410-20 Data Logging Station performs arithmetical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) as well as maxima, minima, average and peak to peak calculations. Data and trend graphs (waveforms) are displayed on a 14.5 cms colour TFT display.
