Trafalgar is excited to be incorporating the Australian manufacture of fire rated fire doors into the group's offering, especially given the steady decline in manufacturing on home soil.
Trafalgar fire doors are made to order from the company’s Sydney manufacturing plant and are built in accordance with AS1905.1-2005.
“We have a range of doors with ratings of one, two or four hours,” said John Rakic, Trafalgar managing director.
Trafalgar’s quality fire doors have the option to be fitted (externally) with fire door hardware from the Trafalgar range. This includes vision panels, damper kits and the wireless CodeMark-approved door hold open device Dorgard.
“It is great to see the growth and expansion of Trafalgar’s manufacturing facilities since it commenced in 2011,” Rakic said. “Our ongoing investment will ensure that this should be the case for years to come. What better way to control quality, reduce lead times and improve service than to make it in your own backyard.”
'Made in Australia' is a major component of the Trafalgar brand.
“We will continue manufacturing a range of innovative products in Australia to create local jobs. This includes fire rated and a full range of other specialty access panels, a range of fire door hardware, service shafts and dangerous goods storage cabinets,” he said.
