Temperzone produces its own extensive range of chilled water fan coil and air handling units that are ex stock and available for immediate delivery.
As well as its own range of fan coils and AHUs, Temperzone also carries Hitachi's Samurai range of screw chillers.
Samurai chillers use Hitachi's patented screw compressors with precision 3D laser-machined male and female rotors, which ensure the most efficient compression.
No oil pump is required as compressor oil is circulated by differential pressure, which improves both unit life and reliability.
Hitachi Samurai chillers are infinitely capacity controlled and use a variable sliding valve to modulate the output between 15 and 100 per cent, to match the varying load. This control system is ideal for both comfort and industrial applications.
Electronic expansion valves and DC inverter condenser fans are standard to maintain chiller operating efficiently under all weather conditions. A range of factory fitted options are available “to order” if required.
Samurai chillers sold in Australia are manufactured at Hitachi’s European factory which is both Eurovent and ISO9001 certified. Every Samurai chiller is fully factory run-tested.
Hitachi Samurai screw chillers come in three types:
• Air cooled – cooling only from 112kw to 618kw
• Air cooled – heat pump from 106kw to 585kw
• Water cooled from 118kw to 300kw
In the last year, Hitachi Samurai chillers have been chosen for a number of high-profile projects including the Square Kilometre Array Project in Murchison, WA, and Townsville's ReefHQ aquarium.
Temperzone carries stock of the most common air cooled – cooling-only Samurai chillers in the range 112kW up to 412kW.
The other side of Temperzone’s chilled water business is based on the company’s long history of locally manufactured chilled water fan coils and air handling units.
Over the years, Temperzone has developed an extensive range of locally manufactured units which have been used in conjunction with many of the major chiller brands.
The biggest change in Temperzone chilled water air handling equipment in recent years has been the advent of EC fans.
EC fans provide much better control of the airflow as well significant efficiency improvements that result in lower running costs.
Another major benefit from the introduction of EC fans has been a significant reduction in fan noise.
The range includes low-profile chilled water fan coil units available in cooling only or cooling with heating coils. Sizes range from 205 through to 650 l/s airflow.
It also includes standard height chilled water fan coil units available in cooling only, cooling with heating coils and cooling with electric heat configurations. Sizes range from 450 through to 2350 l/s airflow.
There is also a range of under ceiling chilled water cassette units available in cooling only or cooling with heating, with sizes ranging from 175 through to 815 l/s airflow.
Horizontal or vertical discharge air handling units are available in cooling only or cooling with heating coils.
Sizes range from 1500 through to 8600 l/s airflow.
Vertical floor-mounted units are also available.
