The new Aurora Wall Split System air conditioner by ActronAir is engineered to suit Australian conditions with an operating range of -10°C to 50°C, and has passed Maximum Cooling Capacity tests
at 52°C .

Most inverter systems have a maximum operating range of only 43 – 46°C, so as the temperature rises further their effective performance reduces or they stop working altogether, just when they are needed most.

Whether in Karratha or Killara, an air conditioner’s outdoor unit can be sitting in a hot spot and naturally emitting its own heat as well, which makes it essential to have an air conditioner with an operating range of up to 50°C.

Aurora’s remote on/off function makes it ideal for schools, mining operations and other commercial applications, allowing the user to turn the air conditioner on or off remotely.

Because an ever-growing number of power suppliers are offering Peak Smart options to reduce their customers’ power bills, Aurora comes readily Demand Response Enabled to take advantage of those options.

The Aurora series also features advanced DC Inverter technology on both its indoor and outdoor units, which delivers up to 35 per cent more energy efficiency and reduced running costs when compared to conventional AC technology, with whisper quiet operation.

Other features include a sleek, modern fascia to suit most decor; Quiet Mode that can reduce sound down to a whisper; Sleep Mode which maximises sleep comfort by automatically adjusting the temperature over seven hours; and a HEPA-Bio filter to capture and kill dust and other microbes.

With a sensor in its indoor unit plus another in its remote control, Aurora delivers improved comfort exactly where the occupant is within the room – ActronAir has called this the ‘Follow Me’ facility.

A four-stage indoor coil self-cleaning cycle minimises build-up of dust and reduces mould growth.

Aurora is backed with ActronAir’s local after sales support, a five year parts and labour warranty and local spare parts. To find out more about this new split range, phone 1300 522 722 or visit www.actronair.com.au
