Temperzone has launched Hitachi Samurai screw chillers into the Australian market.
Hitachi Samurai screw chillers come in three versions: air cooled with cooling only from 112kw to 618kw; air cooled heat pump from 106kw to 585kw, and water cooled from 118kw to 300kw.
Samurai chillers use Hitachi patented screw compressors with male and female rotors, precision laser machined to ensure they provide efficient compression. No oil pump is required as compressor oil is circulated by differential pressure. This provides an excellent seal between rotors as well as lubrication for the bearings for long life and reliability.
Less than one per cent of oil is carried over thanks to the patented cyclone oil separator improving the overall heat transfer efficiency.
Some of the air cooled scroll chillers in the market use on/off control to step up or down its capacity. Hitachi Samurai chillers are infinitely capacity controlled and use a variable sliding valve to modulate the output between 15 per cent and 100 per cent, to match the varying load. This control system is ideal for both comfort and industrial applications.
Electronic expansion valves and DC inverter condenser fans are installed standard to keep chillers operating efficiently under all weather conditions.
Samurai chillers sold in Australia are manufactured at Hitachi’s European factory. Every Samurai chiller is fully factory run-tested.
Like all Hitachi air conditioning equipment in Australia, Samurai chillers are now part of the Temperzone national sales, service and logistics system. Hitachi’s patented chiller technology is backed by Temperzone’s national network and local knowledge.
“Our core business lies in product sales and we are becoming a great partner to our chiller service and installation customers,” Temperzone product manager James Su says.
