Innovation has always been about best in class products and this range is a leader in solutions for high density residential developments.
Panasonic Australia has just announced the availability of its new high efficiency bulkhead ducted range of concealed air conditioning units.
The company's product marketing manager for air conditioning, Joe De Bella, said the range of ducted units are perfect for apartment applications due to their streamlined design and small size.
“With the new low profile fan coil with built-in drain pump, as well as a deluxe wall controller, we’re offering a best-in-class solution for high density residential developments,” he said. “These features ensure a comfortable experience for consumers, while keeping costs down for developers and business owners.”
The new ducted units are available in five capacities; 6.0kW, 7.1kW, 10.0kW, 12.5kW and 14.0kw. The low fan coil height of only 290mm and the built-in drain pump make this product ideal for restrictive ceiling spaces in high density residential dwelling construction environments.
The static pressure is selectable from as low as 10 Pa and up to 150 Pa to allow bulkhead free blow or ductwork configurations.
They are also extremely quiet thanks to the use of a variable speed DC fan motor. The new range features a very high Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) with the 7.1 kW having a ratio of 3.84, allowing high levels of energy saving.
Exclusive Panasonic Inverter technology adjusts the compressor rotation speed to provide optimum performance at all times, enabling quick cooling and heating while reducing power consumption. The use of a variable speed DC fan motor also delivers significantly higher efficiency.
The new models have an industry leading operating range of -20ºC to 46ºC, meaning even Australia’s harshest climates are covered. For increased flexibility, the piping can be extended to 30 metres without additional gas charging, and up to 75 metres with additional gas charging, providing a wider range of installation options.
Control Solutions
The wired and wireless controllers allow control of an individual unit while the timer controllers allow central control including both daily and weekly timer operation. The system controller allows the central control of up to 64 units, which can also be grouped into floors and zones. Panasonic’s new Intelligent touch screen controller allows up to 256 indoor units to be monitored and controlled from one central point.
The PC based P-AIMS software allows up to 1,024 indoor units to be controlled by a single PC, either on site or remotely. Contact Panasonic on 132 600.
