SteelTailor, a leader in professional, portable CNC machines, has unveiled three of its latest cantilever and gantry CNC cutting machines.
Distributed in Australia by Smenco, the new range includes the Power CNC flame or plasma profile cutter (1.2 x 2.5m or 1.5 x 3m extendable); the Valiant Professional CNC flame or plasma profile cutter (1.8 x 3m or 1.8 x 4.5m, 5.5m up to 15m); and the Dragon 1 Professional gantry CNC plasma profile cutter (2.5 x 3m up to 15m).
Lightweight, with simple set-up machine cutting parameters, SteelTailor is a portable CNC cutter which is capable of machining both simple and complex shapes using both oxy and plasma cutting heads.
The new Power series integrates a completely new version of the CNC controller with many new features.
The spring-loaded drive motor system has been totally upgraded for SteelTailor’s Valiant 2.0 series, enabling optimised structure for the cantilever-type portable machines.
The machine has been totally revised to enable a much longer lifetime, better precision and stability, easier installation and smoother motion.
The new version of Valiant can also be assembled and disassembled easily and simply.
Due to the removal of the spring, the positioning precision of the machine is unified in the effective cutting range. The dimension of the cut-work is also more accurate and precise.
SteelTailor CNC plasma cutting machines are supplied with high quality Hypertherm Plasma cutting units.
After successfully launching the portable cantilever and portable bench CNC cutting machines, SteelTailor has also released its portable gantry. Called Dragon and with a cutting width of 2.5m, the length can be extended as needed.
