The Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) Office is seeking case studies of refrigerated storage facilities to assess how design characteristics are selected and their impact on energy use.
Responses are due by 3pm on 27 January 2023.
The ABCB Office is seeking to understand how design characteristics influence on the energy use of the facility, including understanding the energy saving potential and to establish a minimum energy efficient practice.
The research will help establish whether there is a need to regulate the energy efficiency of refrigerated storage facilities through the National Construction Code and may inform the development of future provisions.
