Distech Controls has unveiled the Eclypse Display, a cutting-edge IP-based touchscreen display set to redefine the way facility managers, system integrators, and OEM partners visualise and manage building equipment.
For those managing commercial properties, delivering cost-efficient, energy-saving, and comfortable buildings that meet sustainability requirements is a top priority.
Eclypse Display allows system integrators and facility managers to quickly and easily visualise a building’s operation to achieve these goals.
With its sleek design, advanced processing technology, and intuitive user experience, it serves as a powerful, super-fast visualisation tool for modern facilities, simplifying commissioning, operations, and troubleshooting while enhancing efficiency and performance.
Powered by Eclypse Facilities, the Eclypse Display is an on-premises IP device for monitoring and interacting with a network of Eclypse and EC-Net devices.
Eclypse Display is a breakthrough improvement on its predecessor, Horyzon-C, with key breakthroughs in faster loading times and processing speeds, thanks to its Intel processor N97 (up to 3.6 GHz), 8 GB RAM, and 32 GB storage.
Eclypse Display is seven times faster than Horyzon-C, ensuring smooth, real-time visuals without excessive lag.
It also delivers improved network integration with IP port configuration, daisy chaining, Wi-Fi connectivity, and USB backup/restore.
Eclypse Display is also compatible with Atrius Facilities, a cloud-based BMS software solution designed to enhance building operations and streamline project operations for system integrators.
The Eclypse Display is a scalable solution available in different screen size options - ECY-Display-10 (10.1”), ECY-Display-15 (15.6”) and ECY-Display-21 (21.5”) – making it adaptable to different installation requirements.
It is a flexible solution that supports different mounting applications, including in-wall, on a panel or as a workstation, and can be configured and maintained anywhere on the network. Integral cybersecure hardware complies with the latest security standards for HVAC equipment controls.
Distech Controls product line director, Kevin Ridder, said the Eclypse Display represents a significant leap forward in building equipment visualisation.
“Its advanced features and enhanced performance will empower system integrators and facility managers to make better informed decisions, ultimately improving the efficiency of the building and the satisfaction of building occupants,” he said.
To complement the Eclypse Display, Distech Controls offers a range of accessories, including in-wall mounting kits, panel mounting bracket kits, and power adapters.
To ensure a smooth transition from Horyzon-C, Distech Controls also has a comprehensive support package and training resources to ensure a smooth transition and optimal use of the Eclypse Display.
