Rinnai’s ARBS 2024 stand showcased an array of new and innovative products that demonstrated the brand’s objective of enabling sustainable living.
The Rinnai stand during its first appearance at ARBS was very busy with a consistent flow of attendees across the three-day event.
On the product front, Rinnai’s focus was on a suite of climate control solutions promising to redefine comfort and efficiency in both residential and commercial spaces.
At the heart of Rinnai’s showcase was its comprehensive range of ducted air conditioning systems.
From a compact seven-kilowatt unit to a robust 24-kilowatt powerhouse, Rinnai’s offerings cater to a diverse array of needs.
The splitable indoor units, ranging from 18kW to 24kW, generated significant interest due to their adaptability and performance.
Rinnai Australia’s general manager of sales & marketing, Dan Tosh, highlighted the numerous features packed into the Rinnai ducted air conditioning solution.
“Superior performance in any climatic zone is achieved via the broad spectrum of ambient temperature limits, from -15 through to 50 degrees in cooling,” he said.
The acquisition of iZone last year bolstered Rinnai’s product lineup. At the show, Rinnai introduced the new iZone Nova range with ten-inch and seven-inch touchpads.
These devices not only bring smart home capability but also intelligent zoning control for ducted systems, allowing control of up to five ducted systems from one touchpad.
“With the inclusion of iZone controls, Rinnai is now able to offer a ducted air conditioning solution that maximises comfort and efficiency” Tosh said.
“The acquisition of iZone means that, we can ensure the continual development of new features based on market feedback and also integrate other products such as hot water systems.”
Epitomising the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability is Rinnai’s Geoflo Hybrid geothermal heat pump system.
The 20-kilowatt heat pump system provides heating and cooling and is coupled with a hot water heat pump, offering efficiencies of 15 to 20 per cent when compared to traditional systems.
“The geothermal system itself utilises a 40-meter bored well, pumping glycol within the loop” Tosh said.
“The Geoflo system utilises renewal energy to achieve a high level of efficiency with a CoP of 4.6.”
Finally, the revival of the APAC brand under Rinnai’s stewardship was one of the highlights of ARBS 2024.
With a new factory in Melbourne, Rinnai is poised to manufacture a complete range of products, including the vertical, rooftop, split ducted ranges for industrial applications.
“The APAC brand has a reputation for reliability and great quality” Tosh said.
“The thickness of sheet metal, the sturdiness of the cabinet, and the aspect of control are all designed with the service technician in mind, making maintenance a breeze.”
Overall, Rinnai’s vision for the future of climate control solutions was a clear and compelling mission at ARBS.
With a strategic lineup of products that blend quality, efficiency, and smart technology, Rinnai is actively driving towards a more sustainable and comfortable future.
