At ARBS 2024 Temperzone took the opportunity to celebrate a 65-year legacy in the Australasian industry and the commitment to sustainability and local production that continues to keep them at the forefront of the sector.

The showcase featured a wide range of innovative and efficient products, including the Econe

The highlight was the new airCore 700 range, offering single split systems with a common outdoor unit that can be connected to various indoor units.

As Jamie Nankivell, Temperzone group marketing manager, said: “The cassette comes with our silent iconic fascia panel, which is a very nice aesthetic looking design, great for architectural installations.”

The ducted units feature a zone controller allowing individual temperature settings for up to eight zones, all controllable via the Air Cloud Go app.

Temperzone is well-known as the exclusive distributor for Hitachi cooling and heating products in the region, and had several innovations from the Japanese giant to showcase to attendees. These included wall-mounted units, including the airHome 600 and 400 range.

The airHome 600, meanwhile with its automated features, allows users to “set and forget,” providing four stages of air purification.

“It’s got built-in Wi-Fi, and that Wi-Fi also has something called Smart-Fence which enables a user through their Wi-Fi app, Air Cloud Go, to set a location boundary for automated location based operation,” Nankivell said.

The Aquanex heat pump water heater range was introduced as an efficient space heating solution, eliminating the need for a buffer tank and capable of heating water 55 degrees in one pass.

“They’ll heat up to 55 degrees in one pass, and they’ll supply that water to the application so that you don’t need a tank,” Nankivell said.

The Econex Rooftop package unit, ranging from 25kW to 200kW, was presented as a high-demand product due to its full range of R32 refrigerant and advanced control capabilities.

The Econex Pro unit, a step up from the standard, can operate in various modes to meet specific application requirements, including controlling humidity levels and running at high efficiency.

Lastly, the Clever MT AHU range was noted for its standardised design, offering shorter lead times and lower prices, with a full aluminium build making it lightweight and easy to install.

“They’re really high-quality units. They’re relatively new to us and we’ve already seen strong interest in them from people at this event,” Nankivell said.

Overall, Temperzone’s presence at ARBS 2024 is best characterised as a blend of two core characteristics.

On the one hand, there is the experience of over 65 years, proving that the company understands the market and its needs.

On the other there’s the embrace of technology and innovation, highlighting that HVAC solutions can cater to both aesthetic and functional needs, while also having a strong focus on sustainability and user convenience.
