FRESE is proud to announce that at ARBS 2024, we will be presenting the extension of our digital actuator series LOGICA to fit PICV’s up to DN 100 and the FRESE Combiflow 6-way valve. The world’s first 6 Way PICV.
The FRESE LOGICA Digital Energy series, now available up to DN 100, is a digital actuator designed to optimize energy usage in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
The Logica actuator simplifies system integration from easy installation to direct communication via BACnet or respectively Modbus with the Building Management system (BMS) to selectable control methods to suit different applications. Built-in energy management algorithms and functions greatly reduce system integration hours.
The combination of proven and appreciated Optima Compact Veriflow PICV, with patented full stroke modulation, Kv flow measurement, and Frese Logica actuator, means the end user is now able to measure flow by two independent methodologies.
Using the traditional mechanical Kv method and now also digital flow measurement. It also enables digitally controlled energy and / or delta T and allows full remote control over the building and the individual end user units. Unlike static energy valves, it keeps a full modulating stroke, regardless of pressure fluctuations, for peerless modulating control and authority.
FRESE will also highlight Combiflow. The world’s 1st 6 Way PICV. COMBIFLOW is a 6-way Pressure Independent Control Valve (PICV) for 4-pipe cooling and heating water distribution systems, enabling switching between cooling and heating whilst preventing crossflow between the two water circuits.
The Frese Combiflow will provide modulating control for heating and cooling and ends the need for balancing valves and DPCV in the HVAC system. The combination of the compact design and internal optimization means large bore sizes, space and the lowest pressure loss of any 6-way solution. The use of our digital actuator allows the integration and control including remote flow setting and flushing.
