Fan manufacturer Ziehl-Abegg have appointed Dr. Marc Wucherer as its new CEO, who will take up his new position in December.

A doctor of engineering with a degree in business administration, Wucherer, who has been on the board of directors of drive and control technology company Bosch Rexroth since 2017, takes over Peter Fenkl, who left Ziehl-Abegg at the end of May.

Wucherer started his career at Siemens, and during a series of management roles, was responsible for various business units both in Germany and abroad, followed by becoming president of the industry segment in North-East Asia.

As a member of the Bosch Rexroth board, he handled global responsibility for sales and marketing, as well as its factory automation segments.

“With Dr. Marc Wucherer as the CEO, and today’s board members Olaf Kanig, Dr. Sascha Klett and Joachim Ley, the Ziehl-Abegg group will have a strong, new and outstanding executive team,” said Dennis Ziehl, chairman of the Ziehl-Abegg supervisory board.
