LG Electronics has launched its range of residential split system air-conditioners with ThinQ technology into the New Zealand market through its ‘WS’ and ‘WH’ series.
The latest range of LG residential air conditioners are designed from the ground up to address the needs of the New Zealand market.
All models in the range feature the LG Smart Inverter Compressor, which constantly adjusts and varies the speed to maintain the desired temperature in the room. As a result, users will experience less temperature fluctuations than non-inverter compressor models, meaning consistent cooling for hot summer days.
With built-in smart connectivity, consumers can track their real time power usage with the innovative 4-step Active Energy Control feature, which can adjust the energy levels and help reduce power consumption for efficient cooling.
Meanwhile, users can remotely control the air conditioner from a smartphone via the LG ThinQ app, and with Works with Google compatibility, users can control the unit via voice command through a compatible smart speaker.
Jae Lim, general manager of LG Electronics New Zealand said that during both winter and summer, the combination of cooling and smart technologies in the new range of air conditioners makes all the difference in creating a comfortable environment in any home.
“We know that during the warmer months, keeping the home cool is a must. Our residential split system air conditioners now available in New Zealand allow kiwis to conveniently manage their home’s temperature and energy usage remotely, track power usage, and avoid surprises on their power bill,” Lim said.
Lim said both the WS and WH series of LG air conditioners are equipped with the company’s Smart Inverter Compressor that features a 10-year parts warranty, skew fan to maximise comfort while eliminating unnecessary noise and auto cleaning that helps minimise bacteria, could and odours that can otherwise accumulate in an indoor unit.
The range of LG residential split system air conditioners are available throughout New Zealand in partnership with nationwide distributor Corys Electrical.
