The Lennox product development team is working to expand its offering in 2019 with a particular focus on Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).
Launching its new air conditioning range for the local market, Heatcraft marketing manager for Refrigeration and HVAC, Kirk Buckley, said the range represents a new beginning for Lennox in Australia.
“Creating the perfect indoor air is what the new Lennox air conditioning range is all about,” he said.
“The reverse cycle inverter wall split systems are equipped with the intelligence to deliver more precise temperature control and greater comfort.
“Advanced 3D airflow circulates cold air from the bottom of the room and hot air from the top of the room, preventing pockets of hot and cold developing.
“Air quality is improved by way of photocatalytic filters which eliminate bacteria, viruses and unpleasant smells.”
In addition to air quality and comfort, Buckley said the focus is also on energy efficiency which is why Lennox has included gold fin corrosion protection on the outdoor coil.
“This is to not only improve efficiency, but prolong the life of the coil as well,” he said.
Gold Fin protection improves efficiency by accelerating the defrost process and offers greater resistant to corrosive elements.
Buckley said Gold Fin coils perform up to 20 times better under salt spray testing when compared to blue fin coils.
The new Lennox Split System Inverter range offers 5 models from 2.5kW to 8.5kW.
This is in addition to the new Multi Split Inverter and Ducted Inverter ranges which are also available in February, 2019.
