Daikin Europe has recently opened its first factory in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The custom-built premises are located close to the nation’s capital Riyadh and will be operated by Daikin Saudi Arabia, an affiliate of Daikin MEA.
The factory is certified according to the international certifications ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 for environmental management, quality management and occupational health and safety management.
‘We will be producing high-quality applied air-conditioning products at the factory, including air- handling units, air-filtration units and energy-recovery ventilators. We are very proud they will now carry the label Made in Saudi Arabia,” Takayuki Kamekawa Daikin Europe vice president said.
Chair of Daikin Saudi Arabia, Tariq Almutlaq, said Daikin is strengthening its presence in Saudi Arabia.
“The country is going through many social and economic reforms, and our new factory is a great opportunity to contribute to this transformation and help achieve its ambitious objectives,” he said.
