Many air conditioning installers would agree that if they needed more of something, it would be time.

Polyaire recognises this and eveloped PolyPlan for their customers to help free up their time designing and quoting for ducted installations.

Polyaire marketing manager, Adam Connell, said it is computer aided design (CAD) software that is linked to the customer’s trade account.

“We asked, what is another way we can continue to make things easier for our customers? So, now we offer cloud software they can log into, upload a house plan, use an easy tool to calculate required unit capacities, then they can leave it up to the AI to place outlets, fittings and measure flexible duct,” he said.

“It automatically sets up zones with the capacities tool, and installers can just drag and drop in a smart controller like the AirTouch system onto the plans. It just gets the job done.”

As PolyPlan is integrated with the customers’ account, “air conditioning pro’s can design and have a quote for most installations in 15 minutes or less.

“With PolyPlan’s latest add ons, you can draw the house plan directly into the system and setup scales and capacities from there,” Connell said.

Built with smart tools for air conditioning professionals, PolyPlan automates the design process for ducted installations into Australian homes. It works with ducted reverse cycle systems, evaporative coolers, and gas heaters. “

“We even have smart tools in there to align levels with multi story homes,” he added.

Another great tool of PolyPlan is the Auto Flex Pen. All you need to do to link units, fittings, outlets and return air together is draw in the flexible duct. The right size, insulation and length of duct will be calculated and inserted for you.

Installers can let PolyPlan design the installation for them automatically with their preferred components. “If you like working with multi directional outlets or round diffusers, PolyPlan will work with that. It’s the ame if you prefer to use Ys or branch take offs or diffusion fittings,” Connell said.

“At Polyaire, we really just want to keep making things easier for our customers. Help save time and give them the tools they need.”
