Airefrig Australia has formally announced the opening of a new branch in Mulgrave, Victoria.
The new premises has replaced the former Mulgrave premises and represents the growth of Airefrig’s market position within the state, according to Airefrig general manager, Stephen Cross.
Located at 25-29 McDonalds Lane, Cross said the new building boasts a warehouse and showroom of approximately 2000sqm and a 30 car parking space.
“Airefrig Australia always prides itself on standing apart from its competitors with large stock holdings at every branch and the new Mulgrave branch will ensure this trend continues," he said.
The existing warehouse has been upgraded and includes seven large copper racks and an additional 600sqm mezzanine area.
Cross said the increase in stock holding space is a priority for Airefrig to ensure customer demands are met as and when required, with little or no delay in fulfilling customer orders.
The showroom is 400+sqm and will allow for large displays of all the globally recognised brands that customers have come to know at Airefrig.
"In addition to the showroom, there are four large offices for the Airefrig management and sales team. Staffing at the branch will be a strong team of existing, experienced sales staff," Cross said.
As well as internal sales staff, Cross said there is a branch manager and a dedicated sales engineer available to assist customers.
"With customers at the forefront of Airefrig’s focus, the new premises also has a dedicated training room where product demonstrations and supplier training for staff and customers will be conducted," he said.
Since Airefrig opened its first Victorian branch in Mulgrave in 1998, the dedicated Airefrig staff have serviced the surrounding area from an 800sqm branch.
"This expansion will be particularly beneficial for new and existing customers including those from Victoria and Tasmania," Cross said.
