GEA Refrigeration Australia sales manager, Greg Clements and sales engineer, Nirmal Gaunder, outline new additions to the GEA product range.
GEA Refrigeration Technologies has replaced its HG4 range of semi hermetic compressors with a new line, the GEA Bock HG44e compressor range.
GEA Refrigeration Australia sales manager, Greg Clements, said that in addition to refrigeration and air conditioning, the new four cylinder compressors are ideally suited for refrigeration in supermarkets.
“They offer improved efficiency over their predecessors, greater displacement, more compact structural design and a new configuration of connections,” he said.
“Both the gas connections and the foot mountings of the new compressor conform to sector standards so no adaption is necessary.
In the four cylinder HG44e range, four model sizes cover maximum displacement from 41.3 m3/hr to 670m3/hr.
According to Clements, the new range also features an advanced valve plate system, electrical motors from the latest generation and enhanced gas flow.
The largest model, the HG44e / 770-4 offers almost 20 per cent more displacement than the largest HG4 model (67m3/hr).
“The proven GEA Bock oil-pump design ensures there is reliable lubrication of all moving parts” Clements said.
GEA has also enhanced its product offering to the Australian commercial refrigeration market with the addition of Searle Air Cooled Condensers.
Searle has developed and manufactured its products focusing on specialisation and continuous investment in research and development and optimised production processes.
GEA Refrigeration Australia sales engineer, Nirmal Gaunder, said that in addition to general commercial refrigeration applications operating on synthetic refrigerants, Searle condensers are available for natural refrigerants as well.
Gaunder said the product development process is exhaustive specialising in refrigeration duty (kw), air flow (m3/hr), motor performance and noise thereby delivering a comprehensive solution.
“It is this comprehensive solution that has resulted in the Searle condensers being widely accepted and utilised by international supermarket retailers on the global stage,” Gaunder said.
Searle also offers a wide range of accessories with the condensers including both horizontal and vertical discharge configuration, corrosion protection, EC Fans, electrical control boxes and isolator switches, just to name a few.
“The condensers have Eurovent Certified Performance ratings so they will deliver,” Gaunder added.
Another new addition to the Australian commercial refrigeration market from GEA Refrigeration Technologies is the addition of Kuba evaporators. Kuba has developed and manufactured its products since 1927 delivering eight
decades of experience, specialisation and continuous investment in research and development and optimised production processes.
Kuba evaporators use synthetic refrigerants and are also available for naturals. Gaunder said extensive ground breaking research and innovative testing methods have led to the development of a tube / fin system that offers the optimum combination of maximum heat transfer with a minimum loss of pressure.
Moreover, Gaunder said the green line range of evaporators also offer a broad selection of accessories including the patented Kuba CAL* distributor, corrosion protection, CE Fansand hinged drain trays, all at competitive prices.
Of course the evaporators have Eurovent Certified Performance ratings so quality is guaranteed.
